I met Antsy at a convention/concert, back when I was working with Stephen Bennett. Antsy was a fan of Stephen’s, and was also there to hand out a solo CD he had just made. Nice guy, friendly face, free CD called, “Time-Sweetened Lies”…. looked interesting….why not?
And then when I got home, I listened… and was blown away. His lyrics are wonderful, his voice.. wonderful.. guitar playing, wonderful. His music is fun, warm, sad, happy, cosmic – Antsy truly GETs it.
What I didn’t know then is that Antsy has a band, too, made up of a bunch of crazy, wonderfully talented friends, and they call themselves Antsy McClain and the Trailer Park Troubadours.
